Modern bridge to replace outdated wooden bridge

PATHARI (Morang), Dec 7: The foundation stone for construction of a concrete bridge over Singhiya river to connect Biratnagar Sub Metropolitan City with Baijnathpur VDC was laid amidst a function held on Tuesday.

PATHARI (Morang), Dec 7: The foundation stone for construction of a concrete bridge over Singhiya river to connect Biratnagar Sub Metropolitan City with Baijnathpur VDC was laid amidst a function held on Tuesday. 



The foundation stone was laid by former Finance Minister and lawmaker, Mahesh Acharya. The construction of the bridge over the river will facilitate the locals of Baijnathpur, Jhoraghat and Khuniyakata. 



The bridge will be constructed at a total investment of Rs 57.9 million. The location previously had a rickety wooden bridge which was removed for construction of a modern bridge. RSS
