Mortal remains of man killed in wild animal attack discovered in Makwanpur

MAKWANPUR, Nov 27: The mortal remains of a man who was killed in an attack by a wild animal was discovered in Makwanpur. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Laxmi Bhandari said that the dead body of a man was found in Dobhan area between Rapti and Lothar Khola in Manhari Rural Municipality-6 on Sunday.

MAKWANPUR, Nov 27: The mortal remains of a man who was killed in an attack by a wild animal was discovered in Makwanpur. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Laxmi Bhandari said that the dead body of a man was found in Dobhan area between Rapti and Lothar Khola in Manhari Rural Municipality-6 on Sunday.


The deceased has been identified as 43-year-old Hari Paudel, a resident of Rapti Municipality in Chitwan. Paudel was killed on Friday morning, November 24, after being attacked by a tiger from Chitwan National Park.

In response to the tiger threat, the park's team deployed four elephants to the central area. DSP Bhandari stated that the man's body was discovered with only bones below the waist and bones above the waist.


It is said that the dead body of the man has been brought to Hetauda Hospital and the police are investigating the incident.
