Municipality to provide Rs 15,000 each to the families of COVID-19 victims

KATHMANDU, June 3: Kamalamai Municipality of Sindhuli district has decided to provide Rs 15,000 each to the families of COVID-19 victims. According to the municipality, a board meeting of the municipality decided to provide the relief amount to the relatives of the people who have died of COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, June 3: Kamalamai Municipality of Sindhuli district has decided to provide Rs 15,000 each to the families of COVID-19 victims. According to the municipality, a board meeting of the municipality decided to provide the relief amount to the relatives of the people who have died of COVID-19.


As stated by Mayor Khadga Bahadur Khatri, “The municipality has decided to distribute Rs 15,000 each to the families of COVID-19 victims inside the municipality.”

The second wave of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease has spiked the number of infections and deaths in Sindhuli district. So far, the district has recorded over 1,500 cases of COVID-19 with 15 deaths.
