Murder attempt case filed against perpetrators

BUTWAL, July 21: Rupandehi Police have registered a murder attempt case against five persons for recklessly beating a girl at Sammarimai rural municipality in Rupandehi.  The youths roughed up the girl for having inter-caste marriage.

BUTWAL, July 21: Rupandehi Police have registered a murder attempt case against five persons for recklessly beating a girl at Sammarimai rural municipality in Rupandehi. 

The youths roughed up the girl for having inter-caste marriage.



Likewise, a departmental action is being initiated against the Marchawar Area Police Office Inspector.

 

Rupandehi Police investigated the incident after it came to light that the family members and villagers thrashed the girl for being in love relationship with a youth of lower caste and demanded a penalty of Rs 100,000.

 

Necessary process for action against five people including girl's father Innar Yadav has been initiated by registering a murder attempt case at Rupandehi district court, shared Superintendent of Police (SP) at Rupandehi Rabindra Dhanuk. 



The case was filed against victim girl's Innar Yadav, elder brother Dinesh Yadav, uncle Lalmohan Ahir Yadav, Lalmohan's spouse and a village person Pashupati Koiri.



According to SP Dhanuk, police have already arrested victim girl's father and initiated legal action against him.

 

Search for other persons involved in the incident is underway and action would be taken against the perpetrators, SP Dhanuk assured. RSS
