KATHMANDU, March 21: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has started an investigation into the issue of the baggage of Election Commission Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadee being broken during his flight from Kathmandu to New Delhi on an NAC aircraft on Monday.
Following the incident, Secretary Duwadee tweeted on social networking site Twitter that his luggage was broken. After the tweet drew widespread attention, NAC’s joint-spokesperson Ganesh Kumar Ghimire said that the state-owned airline company has started an investigation into the issue.

Election Commission Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadee, who went to New Delhi on Monday from a Nepal Airlines plane, got hold of his broken luggage while leaving the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
He used the hashtag feature mentioning customercare of NAC, NepalAirlines (RA), the official Twitter handle of NAC, and tweeted on Monday night at 9:40 PM, "The first gift after reaching Delhi from Nepal Airlines is the broken baggage that was handed over, who will take responsibility for it? Let's do your research. Now I have to find a Doko to carry my luggage?”
