Names of five candidates shortlisted for CIT Executive Director

KATHMANDU, Dec 27: A total of five individuals have been shortlisted from the open competition for the post of Executive Director at the Citizen Investment Trust (CIT).


According to the Ministry of Finance (MoF), Parbat Kumar Karki, Rajendra Pandit, Lekhnath Sharma Pangeni, Bishwo Mohan Adhikari and Dr Shiva Hari Shrestha have been shortlisted.

Now, they will make powerpoint presentations and face an interview. The final selection will be made based on these evaluations. The presentation and interview are scheduled for Tuesday, January 2, 2024.


According to the MoF, the candidates who have obtained the highest marks based on the evaluation of educational qualification, work experience, professional and financial action plan have been selected in the short list.


Earlier, the MoF had published a notice on November 7 calling for applications for the executive director of the CIT. A total of 10 applicants submitted their applications.
