National Assembly Chair Ghimire resigns from party responsibilities

KATHMANDU, April  21: Bimala Ghimire, Vice Chair of the National Assembly, has announced her resignation from all party responsibilities. Ghimire, who has served as a member for the past four years, was elected to the position of vice chairman on April 10.

KATHMANDU, April  21: Bimala Ghimire, Vice Chair of the National Assembly, has announced her resignation from all party responsibilities. Ghimire, who has served as a member for the past four years, was elected to the position of vice chairman on April 10.

"After assuming the role of vice chair of the National Assembly, I hereby announce my decision to relinquish all party responsibilities. This step is taken in accordance with parliamentary dignity and tradition,” she said, “I am committed to fulfilling my duties with fairness and transparency, I convey this decision to the public through mass media.”
