KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The Election Commission (EC) has said that there is a schedule for withdrawing names in the National Assembly elections today.
The EC has said that 52 candidates who have filed their nominations for the National Assembly elections can choose to withdraw their names today. EC Spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Paudel said that the nominations will be withdrawn accordingly and the final list will be published today.

According to the EC, the office of election officer will publish the final list of candidates today.
Election symbols are scheduled to be distributed to the candidates tomorrow after the publication of the final list.
The voting time for the election to be held on January 25 for 19 vacant seats in the National Assembly is from 9AM to 3PM.
