According to Senior Advocate Acharya, the election could not be held there today due to the dispute seen in the distribution of the active membership of the party in Dakshinkali-2.

The Central Election Committee has finalized the active membership of more than 70 districts across the country so far, paving the way for the convention. However, the active membership disputes in some districts are yet to be resolved. The NC has already announced its plan to hold its Central General Convention from November 25 to 28.
