NC leader Koirala demands summoning central committee meeting

BIRATNAGAR, Dec 22: Nepali Congress (NC) central member Dr Shekhar Koirala has demanded summoning central committee meeting at the earliest. At a press meet organized at Koriala Niwas in Biratnagar today, Dr Koirala made it clear that the meeting is inevitable to have comprehensive discussion on the party's loss in the elections and call for a meeting of the Mahasamiti.

BIRATNAGAR, Dec 22: Nepali Congress (NC) central member Dr Shekhar Koirala has demanded summoning central committee meeting at the earliest.

 

At a press meet organized at Koriala Niwas in Biratnagar today, Dr Koirala made it clear that the meeting is inevitable to have comprehensive discussion on the party's loss in the elections and call for a meeting of the Mahasamiti. 


Stressing the need to develop organizational structure of the party in every province, he said the party should come up with concrete plans to reach out its organization to toles.

Saying that he lost the parliamentary election due to non-cooperation from within the party, Dr Koirala underlined the need of boycotting the sabotages in the party. 

On a query, he said NC would play the role of strong opposition for next five years being focused on consolidating its organizational base. 


When asked about his possibility to vie for party President in the upcoming general convention, he said, "It was obvious thing for a political person aspires for leadership". RSS
