NC leader Paudel appeals to all party cadres to vote for leader who can institutionalize democracy

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: Senior leader of ruling Nepali Congress(NC) Ram Chandra Paudel has appealed to all party leaders and cadres to vote for the leader who can institutionalize democracy and make the country prosperous in the upcoming 14th general convention.

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: Senior leader of ruling Nepali Congress(NC) Ram Chandra Paudel has appealed to all party leaders and cadres to vote for the leader who can institutionalize democracy and make the country prosperous in the upcoming 14th general convention.


Conveying his best wishes for the general convention via a video message, Paudel requested cadres to put aside personal interest and look at the party’s goal and give shape to NC’s struggle and vote for the appropriate leader who can institutionalize democracy and make the country prosperous.

Stating that the convention is being held a little later than the scheduled time, NC should now work on safeguarding the political changes made over the years and move towards the direction of achieving democracy. “The party needs an able leader who is loyal toward democracy,” he added.


Poudel also requested to hold the general convention following health protocols. The process of the 14th general convention of the NC is set to begin from September 3. The ruling NC has decided to organize its general convention from November 25 to 29.
