NC publicises revised calendar of events for provincial and central general convention

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The Nepali Congress (NC) has made public the election schedule of the Central Executive Committee and the provincial Executive Committees for the upcoming 14th General Convention.

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The Nepali Congress (NC) has made public the election schedule of the Central Executive Committee and the provincial Executive Committees for the upcoming 14th General Convention.


According to the Central Election Committee of the NC, the voter list will be published on December 10 at 10 AM, the nomination papers will be registered on December 11 from 10AM to 5PM and any protest and claims against the nomination will be registered and investigated on December 12 morning until 10.

Similarly, the list of candidates will be published from 12 noon to 3 PM on December 12, while the time to withdraw the nomination is scheduled from 3PM to 4PM on the same day, while the final list of candidates will be published at 5PM.


The voting will take place from 8AM on December 13.


The Committee Coordinator Gopal Krishna Ghimire said that the election procedure for the provincial CECS will start from December 2, and the election will be held on December 4. 


The NC has scheduled to hold the provincial-level convention on December 2 and 3 and the central level general convention from December 10 to 12, 2021.
