Mahottari police arrested Pankaj from his own house last Tuesday night on charges of domestic violence against his wife Neha Chaudhary.

Along with Ram Pravesh, his wife and daughters are on the absconding list of the Mahottari police. Neha had demonstrated in front of the office in Ramgopalpur Municipality on Thursday demanding the arrest of the other absconding accused.

Meanwhile Neha Chaudhary and Niharika Rajput, a single mother, were arrested by the police as the protesters led by them vandalized the municipality office.

Ramgopalpur Municipality issued a statement saying that the protesters led by Neha had caused damage worth Rs 500,000 to the municipality and requested the district administration office Mahottari to recover the amount from Neha and Niharika.
