KATHMANDU, April 9: Nepal recorded 13 new cases of COVID-19 along with 44 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Saturday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 4,155 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 12 PCR and one antigen test turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 649 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 613 are in self-isolation, 24 in institutional isolation, 11 in ICU’s and one on a ventilator. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded eight cases of COVID-19 on Saturday. The cases was reported in Kathmandu district.
