KATHMANDU, April 22: Nepal recorded 78 new cases of COVID-19 along with 50 recoveries and one death from the deadly virus on Saturday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 1,448 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 20 PCR and 58 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 383 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 25 are in institutional isolation, 7 in ICUs and three on ventilators.
Meanwhile, the health ministry has urged one and all to take caution and also get a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
