KATHMANDU, March 28: Nepal recorded 21 new cases of COVID-19 along with 319 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Monday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 6,309 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them,15 PCR tests and six antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.
Nepal records 179 cases, 171 recoveries and one death on Monday
There are currently 1,280 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 1,206 are in self-isolation, 48 in institutional isolation, 23 in ICU’s and three on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded three cases of COVID-19 on the day - a case each in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts.
