KATHMANDU, JULY 18: Nepal recorded 457 new cases of COVID-19 along with 48 recoveries and one death from the virus on Monday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
A total of 4,651 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 386 PCR tests and 71 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus. There are currently 1,776 active cases of COVID-19 across the country.
Nepal records 179 cases, 171 recoveries and one death on Monday
So far, 11,954 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley has 1,133 active cases of COVID-19. Of them, 1,013 cases are in Kathmandu, 28 in Bhaktapur and 92 in Lalitpur districts.
