KATHMANDU, March 21: Nepal recorded 45 new cases of COVID-19 along with 147 recoveries and zero death from the deadly virus on Monday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 4,752 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 41 PCR and four antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.
Nepal records 179 cases, 171 recoveries and one death on Monday
There are currently 3,154 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 3,071 are in self-isolation, 56 in institutional isolation, 22 in ICU’s and five on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,950 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 11 cases of COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 12 cases were recorded in Kathmandu and two in Bhaktapur districts.
