KATHMANDU, July 23: Nepal recorded 3,114 new cases of COVID-19 along with 2,197 recoveries and 16 deaths on Saturday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 10,625 PCR tests and 4,285 antigen tests were conducted on Saturday. Of them, 2,301 PCR tests and 805 antigen tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19.

So far, 9,695 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Nepal.
There are a total of 25,086 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 2,671 in institutional isolation, 650 in ICUs and 165 on ventilators as of Saturday afternoon.
Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 615 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 421 cases were detected in Kathmandu, 86 in Bhaktapur and 108 in Lalitpur districts.
