KATHMANDU, August 7: According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Nepal recorded 3,218 cases of COVID-19 alongwith 1,722 recoveries and 19 deaths on Saturday. With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 casetally has reached 780,807 including 667,270 recoveries and 10,038 deaths.
A total of 8,866 PCR tests and 4,707 antigen tests were conducted on Saturday. Of them 2,231 PCR tests and 987 antigen tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19.

Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 910 cases of COVID-19. Of them, 593 were detected in Kathmandu, 128 in Bhaktapur and 189 in Lalitpur.
There are currently 32,027 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 3,405 in institutional isolation, 746 in ICU and 169 on ventilators.
