KATHMANDU, July 31: Nepal is set to face host team India in the inaugural match of the U-15 Men’s South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship to be held at Kalyani Stadium in West Bengal, India.
The sixth edition of the five-team tournament will start on August 21 with Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Bhutan being the other three teams. Nepal will face the respective teams on August 23, 27 and 29 respectively.
Nepal to face India in first SAFF Women’s U-15 match
Bangladesh had won the fifth edition of the tournament, held in Nepal, which was previously played as U-16 men’s event.
Nepal finished fourth during the competition at home, losing to India for third-place playoff.
