KATHMANDU, August 31: Nepal has defeated Kenya in the T20 International Cricket series 3-2. In the final match of the series played at Gymkhana Cricket Stadium in Nairobi of Kenya on Tuesday, Nepal defeated Kenya by 31 runs.
The series was tied at 2-2 before the final match.
Batting first in the match today, Nepal scored 175 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Gyanendra Malla contributed the highest for the team's total with 59 runs including two sixes and five fours.

Likewise, Rohit Kumar Poudel scored 47 runs while 29 runs came from the bat of Arjun Saud and 22 runs from Dipendra Singh Ayeri.
In reply, Kenya gathered only 144 runs by losing seven wickets in 20 overs.
Gyanendra Malla of Nepal was declared the player of the match while Nepali Captain Sandeep Lamichhane was named the player of the series.
Following the T20 series, Nepal will now play a one-day series of three games against Kenya. The first one-day game is scheduled to be played on Friday.
