Nepali Parkour athlete Sunwar breaks 6th Guinness World Record

Dinesh Sunwar, a Nepali Parkour athlete, has set a Guinness World Record for the 6th time. The holder of five Guinness World Records in Parkour, Sunwar managed to complete 14 'full twist backflips' in one minute and set the world record for the 6th time. He has previously broken the record of 11 times of backflips in this category.

Dinesh Sunwar, a Nepali Parkour athlete, has set a Guinness World Record for the 6th time.

The holder of five Guinness World Records in Parkour, Sunwar managed to complete 14 'full twist backflips' in one minute and set the world record for the 6th time. He has previously broken the record of 11 times of backflips in this category.


Sunwar, who has been actively involved in this sport, is continuously moving forward achieving new milestones. Born and raised in a remote village in Khotang district, he is constantly working toward developing Parkour Sport in Nepal.


Sunwar recalls, "It is not the same  case as when I started the game 15 years ago in the midst of scarcity. I have got a lot of opportunities and I am turning those opportunity to make Nepal known to the world."
