Nepali table tennis team to leave for B’desh today

KATHMANDU, April 5: A six-member Nepali team with four players is set to leave for Chittagong, Bangladesh on Thursday to take part in the Advocate Golam Mostafa Memorial South Asian Table Tennis Club Championship.

KATHMANDU, April 5: A six-member Nepali team with four players is set to leave for Chittagong, Bangladesh on Thursday to take part in the Advocate Golam Mostafa Memorial South Asian Table Tennis Club Championship.

Nepali men’s national champion Shantu Shrestha, Binesh Khaniya, Pradeep Roka and Purshottam Bajracharya will participate in team event of the tournament which will be held from Friday to Sunday.  Sanjay Aryal will coach the team, while Sports Development Department’s officer Gyanendra Shrestha will oversee the managerial aspect. Member Secretary of the National Sports Council (NSC) Keshav Kumar Bista bade farewell to the team on Wednesday.
