KATHMANDU, Sept 12: A 31-member national football team including 23 players left for Jordan on Thursday to participate in the AFC U-16 Championship Qualifier.
Nepal is in Group A of the Championship to be organized in 2020. Along with Nepal, the hosts Jordan, Kuwait, Tajikistan and Sri Lanka are also in Group A.
Nepal is playing against Jordan on September 14 in the first match of the qualifier. Similarly, it will play against Kuwait in its second match on September 16, against Tajikistan in the third match on September 20 and Sri Lanka in the last match on September 22.

The teams winning the qualifier round will secure their place in the second round.
