A total of 1,097,911 units of shares of 167 companies worth Rs 3,332,763 were traded in the market today through 4,170 transactions.
Earlier on Monday, the capital market regulator shed 8.1 points ending the transaction at Rs 277,422,000.
Most of the trading group ended on the green zone today with only two groups suffering a loss.
None-life insurance climbed 68.28 points, hotel groups went up 94.48 points, life insurance jumped 18.63 points, banking group went up 7.23 points.
NIC ASIA is the highest gainer with the transaction of Rs 27.4 million followed by Kumari Bank that sold shares worth Rs 22.8 million, according to Nepse.
