KATHMANDU, Nov 15: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Tuesday declined marginally by 6.59 points to close at 1,897.86 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,904.45 points. It reached as high as 1,919.57 points before falling by around 22 points to close for the day.

The daily turnover increased to Rs 1.023 billion from Rs 946.08 million on Monday. In the overall, 43 companies gained in their market prices while 134 companies’ share prices dropped.
In Tuesday’s trading, three groups including banking, non-life insurance and trading gained in their market value of their shares. The remaining 10 groups faced a drop in their indices.
Himalayan Distillery Limited had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 82.23 million. Taragaon Regency Hotel Limited lost the highest percent in its market price whereas Citizens Mutual Fund-1 was recorded as the biggest gainer of the day.
