No alternative to making coalition candidates victorious: Madhav Kumar Nepal

KATHMANDU, May 6: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that there is no other option but to make the ruling alliance candidates victorious in the upcoming polls. Chairman Nepal termed the alliance led by KP Sharma Oli as reactionary forces and said that the country and the people would regret it if they voted for them.

KATHMANDU, May 6: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that there is no other option but to make the ruling alliance candidates victorious in the upcoming polls. Chairman Nepal termed the alliance led by KP Sharma Oli as reactionary forces and said that the country and the people would regret it if they voted for them.


Speaking at an election rally organized by the ruling coalition in Kathmandu on Friday, Chairman Nepal said that there was no alternative to the ruling five-party alliance to ensure the country's future, embark on a journey of change and safeguard the achievements made so far.

He accused the Oli-led coalition of acting unconstitutionally, undermining the two-thirds majority government and disrespecting public opinion. He lamented that Oli had done ridiculous things at the same time such as laying the foundation stones of as many hospitals as possible in all 753 local units and inaugurating various projects five years before the completion of those projects.
