Army, APF to train masons in quake districts
As many as 14 engineers have started giving the trainer's training to the security personnel, according to a press statement issued by the authority. Following the completion of the training, the trained security personnel will be deployed to Ramechhap, Okhaldhunga and Sindhuli districts to provide masonry training to locals and also assist in building earthquake-resilient houses in the districts.
The NRA had decided to seek help from the army after an acute shortage of masons in the districts seriously hampered the reconstruction efforts.
The authority is also making necessary preparations to give trainer's training to the Armed Police Force personnel and deploy them to the districts.
