Woman killed, man injured in two separate rhino attacks

CHITWAN, April 30: A woman was killed while a man was injured in two separate incidents of rhino attack in Chitwan on Saturday.

CHITWAN, April 30: A woman was killed while a man was injured in two separate incidents of rhino attack in Chitwan on Saturday.



As per the details provided by the District Police Office (DPO), Chitwan, Sukumaya Kumal, 50, of ward-28, Salbas of Bharatpur Municipality had gone foraging the forest when she was attacked by a one-horned rhino. Though she was taken to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries during the treatment.



Similarly, Bhim Bahadur Pakhrin, 70, of Kalika Municipality, Dadhuwa had gone to a community forest in Ratnanagar where he was attacked by a rhino. Later, he was taken to Chitwan medical college, Bharatpur for treatment.
