KATHMANDU, May 13: Nepal reported two more cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
According to a press statement issued by Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, joint spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, a 36-year-old male from Nepalgunj-8, Banke was diagnosed with this deadly virus. His swab samples were tested at Dhulikhel Hospital, Kavre earlier today.
Nine more contract COVID-19, taking national tally to 258
Another male patient, aged 22, hails from Kapilvastu Municipality-2 whose infection was confirmed at Kathmandu-based National Public Health Laboratory.
Both of them are normal and in regular contact with the medics, according to Dr Adhikari.
With this, the total confirmed cases in the country have reached 219.
