KATHMANDU, June 21: The health ministry reported recovery of 194 COVID-19 patients including eight females and 186 males, taking the national COVID-19 recovery tally to 1,772 on Sunday.
Of the 1,772 recovered, 149 are females and 1,623 are males.
Dr Jageshwar Gautam in a daily media briefing of the Ministry of Health and Population said that five patients of COVID-19 of Kavrepalanchowk were discharged from Kathmandu Medical Hospital, Duwakot, 18 from Jaleshwar Hospital of Mahottari and 74 from Alpine Nursing Institution, Sarlahi after recovery.

Similarly, 43 patients of Rautahat from Darahi School, 12 of Saptari from Sai Kisan Isolation Center and 42 of Rautahat from Gaur Nursing Institution were also discharged after recovery.
So far, Nepal has conducted 175,173 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests including 6,008 tests in the last 24 hours.
The health ministry also reported 421 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. With this, the national COVID-19 tally of Nepal has reached 9,026 with 23 death cases.
As many as 7,231 patients of COVID-19 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the nation.
