Over 11,000 individuals infected with dengue disease in Nepal’s 75 districts

KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Nepal has recorded 11,065 dengue patients as of Wednesday. An additional 1,230 patients were recorded in the past 24 hours alone.

KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Nepal has recorded 11,065 dengue patients as of Wednesday. An additional 1,230 patients were recorded in the past 24 hours alone.


The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) confirmed that the disease has spread in 75 out of 77 districts. Bagmati Province has recorded the largest of 8,390 dengue patients.

Similarly, Lumbini Province has 1,421, Province 1 has 1,347, Sudurpashchim Province has 323, Gandaki Province has 224, Madhesh Province has 198 and Karnali Province has 162 dengue patients.
