The panel will be assigned to report to parliament after a detailed investigation into the incident.

The government made the decision to form the investigation panel after parliament members of the main opposition party, the Nepali Congress warned to obstruct the HoR meetings.

The parliamentarians have been urging the government time and again to form a special committee to investigate the Rukum incident.

On May 23, six youths had lost their lives at Chaurjahari, West-Rukum just because of an inter-caste love affair.
