Patan municipality sets up CCTV cameras to control crimes

BAITADI, June 28: Patan municipality of Baitadi district has installed CCTV cameras in the bazaar area to control criminal activities.

A total of 11 CCTV cameras were installed in main places of the bazaar area, said Surya Bahadur Singh, chief administrative officer of the municipality.


The project that cost approximately Rs 500,000, which aims to maintain peace and security and control crimes, he said. The CCTV cameras will be operated and monitored from the Area Police Office, Patan.
