KATHMANDU, Oct 20: Farmers are seen picking marigold flowers for decoration during the Tihar festival at Ichangu, Kathmandu.


Marigold flowers are used to decorate houses and are offered to the gods during the Tihar festival.

Local farmers claim that flowers have not bloomed as per their expectation this year, compared to previous years. This has also affected them commercially. On top of that, the rain during Dashain also delayed the growth of the flowers.
