Pioneer of Nepal's Engineering Education remembered in London

Born in 1951 and educated from India and the United Kingdom, Prof Bhattarai passed away on 28 October 2019 after a long battle with cancer.

According to a press statement, students, colleagues and friends of Prof Bhattarai paid homage to the departed soul and shared their experiences while working with Prof Bhattarai. In the event, they also highlighted his contribution in educational field.


Former Chairperson of the Society of Nepalese Engineers UK (SONEUK) Ghanshyam Poudel, advisor Rajesh Pathak, Secretary Sanyukta Shrestha, Executive Bidur Ghimire and senior engineers Vijay Gurung and Kanhaiya Bhagat also expressed their thoughts in the event dedicated to Prof Bhattarai.
