KATHMANDU, March 4: The health condition of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Samikshya Sangraula, who donated one of her kidneys to PM Oli, is stable, doctors involved in the prime minister's kidney transplant surgery said.
At a press meet organized at TUTH today afternoon, Executive Director of the hospital Dr Prem Krishna Khadka said "The health condition of both the recipient and kidney donor is stable."

Khadka said that the prime minister's kidneys have started functioning well after undergoing the kidney transplant this afternoon. PM will receive further treatment until full recovery, read a press release issued by the TUTH ciriculated during the press meet.
Dr Arun Sayami, who was involved in the surgery, said that the prime minister will have to stay at TUTH for a week.
PM Oli underwent successful kidney transplant today.
