KATHMANDU, July 2: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli visited HAMS hospital in the capital to take stock of the health condition of a group of youths affiliated to the "Enough is Enough campaign" on Thursday evening.
The youths have been staging a hunger strike for the past nearly one week demanding the government's better response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among other demands, they have urged the government to ensure 100% PCR test for COVID-19.

According to Surya Thapa, the prime minister's press advisor, Oli told youth activists Pukar Bam and Iih that the government is doing its best to prevent and contain COVID-19.
Amid worsening health condition due to ongoing hunger strike, Iih and Bam were taken to HAMS hospital, Dhumbarahi, today evening.
"Everything is transparent on the part of the government in terms of handling the COVID-19 crisis. The government's attention has been drawn toward the ongoing hunger strike," Oli told the youths.
