PM Oli's address to House of Representatives postponed to Saturday

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's scheduled address to the House of Representatives today afternoon has been postponed to tomorrow.

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's scheduled address to the House of Representatives today afternoon has been postponed to tomorrow.


According to Surya Thapa, the press advisor to the prime minister, the address has been rescheduled for 11 am on Saturday owing to the demise of National Assembly member Durga Prasad Upadhaya. He was a Nepali Congress lawmaker.

50-year-old Upadhaya died of cancer today morning, according to Nepali Congress headquarters.


Prime Minister Oli was scheduled to address the lower house of the federal parliament at 2 pm. Oli was scheduled to deliver address on the government's major achievements in the past two years since it came to power in February 2018.
