KATHMANDU, Aug 3: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is shifting from Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar to his private house in Balkot, Bhaktapur on Wednesday after the election of a new Prime Minister.
According to Press Advisor to the Prime Minister, Pramod Dahal, PM Oli will leave for Balkot directly from the Legislature-Parliament building.
Before leaving Baluwatar for the parliament, PM Oli planted a Peepal tree (sacred fig) at the premises of his secretariat. The Prime Minister also met security personnel, employees at the secretariat and his aides and thanked them for their assistance.

The outgoing PM's supporters led by Independent Youth Campaign will escort him on motorbikes and vehicles to his private residence at Balkot in Bhaktapur from Naya Baneshwor, PM Oli's Chief Personal Secretary, Rajesh Bajracharya said.
He will be greeted with a musical troupe playing the 'Dhime Baja' at Balkot intersection and the juncture in front of his residence, it is learnt.
