PM Oli urges to start deliberation in polices and programs at NA

KATHMANDU, May 24: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has proposed a discussion on government's policies and programs for fiscal year 2018/19 in the National Assembly today.


The policies and programs were presented in the joint session of both Houses of parliament on May 21.

Putting forth his view over the proposal, NA member Surendra Raj Pandey stressed the need of making clear the issues of means and resources for development, saying the policies and programmes was unclear. 


Similarly, Brishesh Chandra Lal argued that the policies and programmes was ambitious and numbers game. He also demanded that the issue of constitution amendment had to be included in the policies and programs. 


Saying the policies and programmes was narrow-minded in implementation of federalism, Pramila Kumari said that the policies and programmes has to be brought keeping the poverty and other problems of Madhes in attention. 


All the three members put forth their views demanding amendment of policies and programs.
