KATHMANDU, March 4: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said the politics of provocation is harmful to the country and society.
Inaugurating a two-day party gathering here on Friday, Thapa accused the communists of exercising the 'politics of provocation'.
Gagan's recommendation to PM: Stop flocking, work instead
As he explained, the communists demonstrated a double standard in regard to the US-funded Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) thus provoking the masses. According to him, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has finally been successful in tackling the differences between the political parties in regard to the MCC compact agreement and finding a ground for its ratification from the House."
Stating that the party had a different image among the people and it always demonstrates the adjusting characters, he called for further strengthening of party organization in view of the upcoming election.
