KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Renowned Nepali poet and a literary critic Mohan Himanshu Thapa has passed away.

His contributions to Nepali literature include ‘Khukuri math ek chauta badal’ (a collection of poems), and other poems including ‘Ason ko maacha ghain salbalairahexa’, ‘Aakash lai bere jastai’, ‘Aagko ko raap’, ‘Inar bitra kaa ek dui aankha’, ‘murkatta ko aankha ka mrityu ko laas’, ‘Raat jhai aandhakar maa ghoptiyera’. Sahitya Parichaya is his book of literary criticism.


Thapa was born in 1936 AD in Gokarna, Kathmandu.
