Pokharel appointed as President’s press advisor

KATHMANDU, April 9: Kiran Pokharel has been appointed as the press advisor to President Ram Chandra Paudel.

KATHMANDU, April 9: Kiran Pokharel has been appointed as the press advisor to President Ram Chandra Paudel.


President Paudel appointed Pokharel as his press adviser on Sunday. Pokharel has been active in journalism for the past three decades.

He is also a former commissioner of the National Information Commission and a former president of Nepal Press Union.


Earlier, President Paudel appointed Sunil Bahadur Thapa as his political advisor, Dr Chiranjeevi Nepal as his economic advisor, Suresh Chandra Chalise as his Foreign Affairs Advisor  and Baburam Kunwar as his legal adviser.
