KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Police have destroyed a huge amount of home-made liquor at Bouddha in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6 on Thursday.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha swopped on hooch outlets and destroyed 1,500 liters of home-made liquors along with 15,700 liters of raw materials used for preparing hooch before taking them under control.
Police have also seized three sets of gas stoves, three sets of gas cylinders and 118 pieces of plastic drums.
