PPGUK’s annual general meeting concluded with celebration of Kwaati Punhi

Pasa Puchah Guthi UK (PPGUK), London organized this year’s Kwaati Punhi celebration and Annual General Meeting at Parliament Hill Park, London on Sunday. A total of 30 guests including founders and advisors of PPGUK—Mahanta Shrestha and Amrit Ratna Sthapit; Former President Sanyukta Shrestha, BOT President Ojesh Singh, general members and executive committee members attended the event.

Pasa Puchah Guthi UK (PPGUK), London organized this year’s Kwaati Punhi celebration and Annual General Meeting at Parliament Hill Park, London on Sunday. A total of 30 guests including founders and advisors of PPGUK—Mahanta Shrestha and Amrit Ratna Sthapit; Former President Sanyukta Shrestha, BOT President Ojesh Singh, general members and executive committee members attended the event.


According to a press statement released by PPGUK, President of PPGUK Rukmani Manandhar started the event with a warm welcome and thanked everyone for their generosity during fundraising for Nepal for COVID-19 relief.

General Secretary Pranisha Shakya presented a full report of 10 major events organized by PPGUK London in the last one year. All the events were organized virtually last year through PPGUK’s Facebook page and other online outlets, due to the ongoing pandemic. Altogether, a total of 10 events had 17,119 views.


The AGM was concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice President Menka Shrestha. Founder and Advisor Mahanta Shrestha thanked the executive committee for their dedication in serving the community and added that he looked forward to seeing more women in the team leading PPGUK London branch in the future.
