President Paudel says he’s willing to bear his medical expenses in India

KATHMANDU, May 2: President Ram Chandra Paudel has expressed his willingness to bear all expenses of his treatment, according to the President’s Private Secretariat.

KATHMANDU, May 2: President Ram Chandra Paudel has expressed his willingness to bear all expenses of his treatment, according to the President’s Private Secretariat.


According to a press release issued by President Paudel's Press Coordinator Khila Karki, the President is willing to bear all expenses of his treatment at AIIMS, New Delhi, in India.

“In the beginning, President Paudel underwent treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital after he complained of health problems. Later, he underwent treatment at AIIMS Hospital, New Delhi, in India as per the doctors' advice after no significant improvement in his health. It is to inform everyone that the President has expressed his willingness to pay for the expenses of his treatment himself," reads the statement.  


President Paudel had left for India on April 19 for treatment and returned home on April 30.
