The leaders of the ruling coalition have met several times over the last week and even today they are discussing the matter in Baluwatar.

However, no leader has been able to stake his/her claim to the leadership of the new government since the parties are yet to agree on the distribution of important posts like the Prime Minister, President, Vice President, Speaker and Deputy Speaker.

According to the leaders who participated in the meeting, they agreed to form the government under the leadership of the ruling coalition, but the power-sharing deal among those parties is yet to be reached.

Currently, the ruling coalition consists of Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (United Socialist), Rastriya Janamorcha, and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party. Regular meetings and discussions are going on between the leaders of these parties.
