DOTI, July 14: The prohibitory orders imposed in Doti district from May to prevent and control COVID-19 have been extended till July 30.
A meeting of the District COVID Crisis Management Center (DCCMC) held today decided to extend the prohibitory orders as there is still a high risk of the coronavirus infection in the district.

Chief District Officer Sunil Khanal said that legal action would be taken against those defying the orders, creating an artificial crisis in supply of medicines, medical supplies, essential goods and service and price hike.
The DCCMC has allowed the public vehicles to operate inside the district and open shops from 6AM to 8PM.
Similarly, a decision has been taken to allow banks and financial institutions to remain open from 10 AM to 1 PM by following health safety protocols while development construction activities and vehicles used for development construction will be allowed to operate by adopting health safety guidelines.
Operation of hotels, saloons, restaurants, gym halls, beauty parlors and inter-district public transport has been restricted during the prohibitory orders.
